SPEAKING & WORKSHOPS
Two speakers.One equation.
Most burnout talks are one person telling their story. Laura and Barry bring a model the room can use on Monday morning, and two people to hold it. Keynotes from thirty minutes, workshops from sixty.
WHERE YOU MIGHT HAVE SEEN US
You've probably heard
one of us before.
The Burnout Equation.
Work Identity plus Social Identity minus Core Identity equals Burnout.
Our flagship keynote explores why so many ambitious people slowly lose themselves while chasing success. Burnout does not arrive overnight. It arrives when work quietly becomes your identity, and you stop living the life you were working so hard to build.
Through personal stories, humour and practical insight, the room gets a way of seeing their own situation rather than a set of tips.
MORE KEYNOTES
Five more we get asked for.
Thirty to sixty minutes, each shaped around your audience before the day.
Stop Existing. Start Living.
Redefining success, reconnecting with what matters, and building a life you need not keep postponing.
When Did Your World Become So Small?
How ambition quietly shrinks a life, why achievement becomes a prison, and how to reclaim your freedom.
The Invisible Prison
The hidden habits and beliefs that keep high performers stuck, even when life looks successful from outside.
The Energy Advantage
Why sustainable performance starts with managing energy rather than time, not effort.
Grow the Founder. Grow the Business.
For entrepreneurs and business owners: why personal growth is the greatest driver of business growth.
Or ask for something else.
Every talk is shaped around your audience. Tell us what you want people doing differently afterwards.
WORKSHOPS
When a talk is not enough.
Sixty to ninety minutes, built around discussion, reflection and action rather than slides.
Burnout Prevention
Spotting the pattern before it becomes a crisis: what burnout actually is, and the early signals a team can learn to notice in itself.
Sustainable Performance
Managing energy rather than time, so a team can keep going at pace without paying for it six months later.
Identity-Driven Change
Why change that starts with what people do rarely holds, and change that starts with who they believe they are does.
The Circle of Control
Separating what a team can actually influence from what it only worries about, and putting the effort back where it counts.
Building Healthy Boundaries
Where the lines go, how to hold them, and why the people who need them most are usually the last to set any.
Creating a Life Beyond Work
Reconnecting with the life outside the job, and why that is the thing that makes people better at the job.
Leadership, Resilience and Wellbeing
What a leader's own state does to the room around them, and what changes when they start looking after it.
WHO YOU'D BE WORKING WITH
We did not learn this from a book.
In 2017, Laura was running a health business that looked, from the outside, like it was working. Then she stopped. Catatonic for around weeks. They came close to losing the business she had spent years building.
Before that she spent a decade in Kent Police, most of it in Counter Terrorism Intelligence, and was medically retired after being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and OCD.
Barry has spent more than thirty years in health and fitness, and over a decade in the Prison Service, where he ran the wellbeing team for staff and prisoners and trained men leaving prison to become personal trainers and sports therapists.

BEFORE YOU BOOK
Questions organisers ask.
If yours is not here, put it in the enquiry and we will answer it.
How long are your talks?
The signature keynote runs 45 to 60 minutes. The other keynotes run 30 to 60. Workshops are 60 to 90 minutes and are built around discussion rather than slides. We also run half-day and full-day sessions for organisations wanting something deeper than a talk.
Do you both speak, or just one of you?
Both of us, and it changes what a session can be. Two people can run a conversation on stage, split a workshop into smaller groups, and answer from two very different backgrounds: a decade in Counter Terrorism Intelligence, and thirty years in health and fitness including the Prison Service.
Can you tailor a talk to our audience?
Yes, and we do it every time. Every session is shaped around your goals and who is in the room before the day. The four questions above are how that starts, and the last one matters most: what you want people doing differently afterwards.
Is this a motivational talk?
No. We do not believe people change because they hear another motivational speech. They change when they see themselves differently, so the talks are built to hand an audience a way of understanding their own situation rather than an hour of encouragement they have forgotten by Friday.
What does it cost?
It depends on the format, the length, and where you are. Tell us about the event using the four questions above and we will come back with a figure. There are no packages to choose between, because the session is built around your audience.
What happens for people who want help afterwards?
Some will. Everyone in the room gets the free burnout self-assessment, which is twenty-seven questions and about two minutes. Beyond that we run two coaching programmes: Energised Leadership for burnout recovery, and Clarity Momentum for people who are stuck rather than exhausted.

Tell us about
the event.
Tell us about the event, who will be in the room, and what you want them doing differently afterwards. We will come back on whether we are the right fit for your audience and whether we are free.
